Throughout the Andes Mountains of Peru, the ancient language of Quechua is spoken. "Mayu" means river of light, river of stars, and the Milky Way. It also happens to be the first two syllables of my name. The flow of the river of life has led me to the practice of shamanic energy medicine. I live in the land of rivers called Rivierenland along the Waal and the Maas, in the Netherlands. It is here that I open my doors for my practice, as well as online.
From my own experience, I know that we need to continually cleanse and clear our waters, gently removing the rocks and stones that create blockages and prevent us from following our most natural flow — the river of light that carries us along our life path. It is important to remember that each of us is light: a unique essence and expression of life, which can continue to unfold, flourish, and be refined.
Along the way, we may notice signs, receive signals, or feel that something is calling us forward. Perhaps you are standing at a threshold. Perhaps something in your life is ready to change. Or perhaps you simply feel called to know yourself more deeply. Whatever brings you here, you are welcome. We begin by listening.
